A long-serving member of the Federation Council, Russia's upper house of Parliament, Igor Kamenskoy joined Renaissance Capital as Chairman in 2009. He leads the Firm’s government relations function in Russia and is responsible for maintaining and strengthening relations with Russia’s state corporations.
From 2002-2009 Mr. Kamenskoy served as a member of Russia’s Federation Council, first representing the Republic of Ingushetia and latterly the Krasnoyarsk region. Mr. Kamenskoy also held a number of senior roles in the federal government, including Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Federation Issues and Regional Policy and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Social Policy. Since 2006 he has served as Deputy Head of the Expert Commission of the High Council of the political party United Russia.
From 1998-2000 Mr. Kamenskoy served as Vice President of Rosbank and from 1992-1999 he was Vice President of Soyuzkontrakt.
