Roland Nash is Head of Research and Chief Strategist at Renaissance Capital. He joined the Firm in 1996.
Every year since 2003, the Research team led by Mr. Nash has been voted the No. 1 in Russia in Institutional Investor's authoritative survey of buy-side professionals. For the last three years, the Renaissance research team has also dominated Institutional Investor's poll for Emerging Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), winning first places in all 10 categories it participated in 2010.
Prior to joining Renaissance Capital, Mr. Nash worked for two years as a senior economic expert at the Russian European Center for Economic Policy (RECEP), where he was involved in advising the Russian government on economic policy.
Mr. Nash attended Balliol College, Oxford University, where he received a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.
