Mr. Lowe joined Renaissance in 2007 and is responsible for executing Renaissance Capital's Africa strategy. He has also been closely involved in principal investing in sub-Saharan Africa through Renaissance Partners, the merchant banking arm of Renaissance Group.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Lowe was a Regional Director at DHL Worldwide Express and Head of Emerging Markets, where he was directly responsible for the integration and expansion of the DHL network into 83 countries. His activities included the development of the largest airline network across the Emerging Markets region. Prior to this, Mr. Lowe spent a number of years in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Angola and the DRC operating his own airline; before selling it to DHL. DHL used the airline as the principle platform for expansion of their African network.
