Mr. Vanhecke is Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Capital Ukraine and is responsible for the wider Central and Eastern European region, including Belarus. He leads a team of bankers responsible for the full range of investment banking products including M&A advisory and equity and debt capital markets.
Prior to joining Renaissance Capital in 2006, Mr. Vanhecke worked in investment banking in London, Frankfurt and Moscow for Dresdner Kleinwort. Previously, he worked in the M&A departments of Wasserstein Perella & Co in London (2000-2001) and Lazard in Paris (1999-2000). He was a strategic consultant for the Boston Consulting Group from 1997-1999 and a lawyer for Baker & McKenzie from 1992-1995.
Mr. Vanhecke holds a law degree from Catholic University Leuven, a master of law degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and an MBA from Columbia University.
