Alexander Pertsovsky is President and First Deputy CEO of Renaissance Capital, a role in which he oversees the Firm’s institutional securities business. He joined Renaissance Capital in 2002 and from 2007 to early 2010 he was CEO.
Mr. Pertsovsky founded Rinaco Plus in 1992 and served as the firm’s CEO. Prior to Russia’s 1998 market crisis, Rinaco Plus was the domestic equity market leader, with the largest turnover among all market participants. After 1998, Mr. Pertsovsky orchestrated the merger of Rinaco Plus with Nikoil Investment Group where he served as Managing Director and Board member, responsible for the merged company’s brokerage operations.
Mr. Pertsovsky received his MBA from Columbia University in 2002. He earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Radio, Engineering and Automation in 1991.
