Renaissance Capital’s 22nd Annual Russia Investor Conference

Bringing together Russian business leaders with senior government officials and global investors

Moscow, 12 April 2018 – Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank, held its 22nd Annual Russia Investor Conference on 10-11 April. In partnership with MOEX, the conference this year was held in parallel with the Moscow Exchange Forum 2018.

As the first investor event following the presidential elections, the conference addressed the medium-term outlook for Russia's economy and capital markets, providing a platform for both global and domestic businesses and investment communities to exchange their views on Russian investment opportunities.

In addition to one-on-one meetings with around 50 leading Russian corporates from different sectors, investors received first-hand views at round-table with Alexey Kudrin, former Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation. The programme also included trips to Saint Petersburg and Krasnodar to visit the most promising Russian companies in the regions.

Ruslan Babaev, Co-CEO at Renaissance Capital, commented: "Our 22nd Annual Russia Investor Conference has been a success, with solid attendance from the business and investor communities, representing a wide range of sectors. Over the two days, more than 500 one-on-one meetings were conducted, bringing together global and domestic investors with leading companies from Russia and the CIS region, and providing a platform for an exchange of ideas on the Russian investment climate and economy."

Anna Vyshlova, Co-CEO at Renaissance Capital, added: "We are very pleased to have held the 2018 edition of the conference for the first time with our long-term partners the Moscow Exchange. This enabled us to achieve great synergies, with a superb line-up of high-profile speakers. Despite the recent uncertainty in the markets and geopolitical issues, the number of participants was among the highest in recent years. We have received very positive feedback from our global investor base, who admitted that the timing for the conference could not be better. Renaissance Capital looks forward to helping more companies fulfil their long-term potential through capital raising, in 2018 and beyond."
